It's no surprise she won the "Spirit" award. She also comes up with the idea of everyone writing their flaws on their foreheads, and despite her own flaw of insecurity, she's not afraid to throw herself into a situation and try to fix it. All-Loving Hero: Appears to be one in training as of "Girl Meets Flaws." Not only is she the first one to confront Farkle after he stops coming to class, but her response when he tells her why is to hug him.The latter, however, was given to her by Harley Keiner - the same guy who bullied her dad as a kid! Affectionate Nickname: She has two, actually. She has several similarities to her father, from his compassion to his occasional neurotic tendencies. Riley is the eldest child and only daughter of Cory and Topanga, the main characters from Boy Meets World. The titular "Girl" looking to make her way in the world. We love that all these stars came out to support their friends at the opening of #PeterPan! #PPTAPC by: Rowan Blanchard, Lindsey Lamer (As "Little Riley" in "Girl Meets the Bay Window", "Girl Meets Bear" and "Girl Meets World of Terror 3") So proud of you for your incredible #peterpan performance tonight at /DLN3gieo2HĬongrats & on opening night of #PeterPan! /guypjGLKVJ Peter Pan opens tomorrow night Pasadena playhouse Pasadena. Hear from & all the #PPTAPC cast members now w/ on the Radio Disney app! /SBodjEFW4z Photo #1: presents #PPTAPC! Photo: for info & tix: /mdIoy8tYwh We included a picture of her in a previous post. One of the pictures we included is of Peyton who went to show his support for his cast members. We found some pictures of Sabrina, Corey, and Auggie from last nights opening night for the Peter Pan play. We were able to do some really fun things with that. Acting-wise, it’s probably “Girl Meets 1961.” We were able to play our great ancestors from the 60’s. Farkle gets involved and while I don’t agree with what he did, I really enjoyed doing those scenes with Rowan.ĬF: I have a couple of favorite episodes. We have this whole love triangle going on with Riley, Maya, and Lucas. I’m grateful that we were able to do all of that because it makes the character a lot more complex.ĭo you have a favorite moment or scene from the show?ĬF: A couple of my favorite moments have come up in the last few of episodes. I don’t have to keep it in that long haircut anymore. And they gave me a little freedom with my hair. And he’s still weird and quirky and fun, but he’s a little more mature.Ī way we did that was through a wardrobe change, for example I don’t wear the turtlenecks anymore. He was an exaggerated version of my personality.Īs I started maturing the writers came up with a way to have him grow up too so that he’s still character. When I started the show with this character, I think I was pretty similar to the way Farkle was, so it wasn’t too much like acting. How is it maturing into adulthood at the same time your character does? Is that challenging as an actor, since what is happening to your character is happening in parallel to your real life?ĬF: No, it is not difficult. What do you think of your character, Farkle Minkus?ĬF: I think he’s very interesting. So it’s been really great to be able to go to them for help if we need it.īefore our live tapings we would meet in Ben’s dressing room and have a discussion about the episode and about how the week went. It’s great to have them as a resource because they got their start as children and made the successful transition from child actor to adult actor. They do offer some advice and if we have problems or questions we can always go to them. Do they offer an advice on being a child actor?ĬF: It’s amazing that we get to work with most of the people from Boy Meets World. So many of Girl Meets World adult cast and guest stars were child actors themselves. He talks about Girl Meets World, acting, singing, etc! “They started out as child actors and they successfully made that transition to adult actors, so it’s nice that we can have them there to reference and for their advice” I’m there just trying to keep the peace between everybody. “There’s a whole storyline where Riley is not being truthful about how she feels, so I’m trying to get her to be honest and that will clear up a bunch of things”. “We get to start covering more mature topics and our characters are growing up and changing.” “It’s cool to play that because that’s happening in our real life as well, so as we grow as actors and as people, our characters are growing with us.” We copied a couple of quotes where talked about Girl Meets World, Ben and Danielle. Our friend Jona tweeted about Corey being in this month’s issue of Naked Magazine. He talked about his life, photography, Girl Meets World, Peter Pan broadway show, and his future.
